West Valley Steps Up Education Programs

You may have noticed articles in the paper in the last two weeks touting the new programs and advancements in the local schools in Goodyear and Buckeye. The IB diploma program is planned for Buckeye Union High Schools and Buckeye Elementary School is starting a district band program! What a great time to be in the West Valley. Holly and I have always maintained that it does not matter where children are being educated as long as they are being educated well. The districts are making huge strides and it is great to see. We are all in the business of educating children and our society will be better off with highly educated and prepared individuals. These new programs in the area can only make us better. Competition breeds excellence. This is the entire reason for the existence of charter schools,to provide parents with choices. We are the first to recognize that our school is different and not everyone agrees with our philosophy of education. That is the beauty of choice. What we do has a specific purpose and vision,it never offends us to hear people who choose elsewhere because our visions do not match up;it only reinforces the need for great choices for parents and kids so they can find the perfect school for them. We are constantly looking at how we can improve our schools to make sure we are holding true to our mission and values and providing your scholars with a phenomenal education. We absolutely love the direction the district schools are going and we embrace the challenge of setting the pace!
